Post The evolution of the meme
I'm placing this in science & tech because it originated in "All Tech Considered" on NPR. In this piece, meme is defined as as a cultural unit that spreads rapidly through the internet, like a fad on steroids. Richard Dawkins, interviewed as the inventor of the term, says that the internet provided the perfect ecology for memes. Possibly, this segment shows where memes have ended up, after having been put at first to wider uses.
