From exotic central Indiana
Hi,
I'm Debra. I'm a writer as well as avid reader. I love reading about history--non-fiction and fiction. Since I write historical fiction, I love the research! I don't really have favorite authors--I never know if I'm going to like a book until I start reading it!
I grew up in nortwest Indiana, then my husband joined the US Air Force and we got to see the world--well a few different states and England! He's retired now and we decided to move back to Indiana, but da region. We visted Indianapolis and liked what we saw, so we settled just north of the city. We have two grown children and two grandchildren, who are da bomb!
My dream: If I ever win the lottery, I want to open up a second hand bookstore in downtown Noblesville.

Hi Debra,
Your introduction sounds as if you've really had an exciting life with your husband up to now.
I'd just like to welcome you here since I myself are quite new, but I can tell that those topics of this forum I've already looked at are really inspiring. I'm sure, you'll find many ideas of good books!
Bye, Meike

Well, if you live in Germany, then Indiana most certainly is exotic. Welcome!

Thanks for the new perspective on my rather boring state. I tried to respond to this yesterday but had "issues" with my broadband, and I suspect aol as well. Nice to meet you.
