The Lazy Crew is Jon Kucala's debut book published by Dorrance Publishing.
When I started reading this book, I was amazed that it was the initial book Jon KuCala wrote. It reads like a John Lutz, Dean Koontz or Stephen King book. I was astonished at such skilled writing and imagination he used to tell this story.
The Lazy Crew is not for the faint of heart. It's violent, wicked and bloody. Throughout the book, one can never second guess what's coming. He writes one surprise after another and you are forced to read faster to find out what, subsequently, will happen.
The high school kids and the Salvation Cemetery were a great way to begin the story. The kids were immoral and foolish. They let old evil in. They were careless and found out the devil was lurking around every corner. Evil has many faces.
As the story progressed, the author made every chapter more terrifying. As a kid, we used to drive through a cemetery and try to scare each other never realizing what could happen. There could be a "Jack-man anyplace. And he was.
You "must read" The Lazy Crew, and when you finish you will not forget this book.
You will be unsure if you are being stalked, and
You won't know until they reach out and snatch you.
You will want to recommend it to your "thriller" book-reading friends.
Again, I cannot say enough for The Lazy Crew. You will be shocked at the ending.
