Please do the following:
1. Manually logout of the site. 2. Clear your browser cache. 3. Delete all cookies associated with booktalk.org.
When you've done all that, login again making sure to check the box for autologin. Close your browser, reopen it, and see if you're still logged in.
If that doesn't help, please post which browser you're using and I'll try to figure it out from there. Also, are you entering the site via a bookmark or from typing it in directly? If it's a bookmark, is it a recent one, or are you using one from before the upgrade? (might not matter but worth checking).

Glad to hear it.
Very occasionally the cookies set by the site get corrupted or otherwise screwed up, and the site has trouble setting a new cookie. For anyone else that stumbles on this topic, the above method is the preferred way to reset them.

Re: nomen est omen
Sigh. And here I go again. Every time I try and enter the chat room (chat/?logout=true), I have a "windows internet explorer object error" pop up and then am rerouted back to the chat sign-in page, over and over again. Any help would be appreciated, David and/ or Chris. Thanks!

You're trying to go in the out door. That link you post above is to log out of the chat, hence the logout=true argument on the end. Just go to chat to enter it.

Re: nomen est omen
Thanks for the reply, David, but the problem is that when I click on "chat", the screen with user name and password pop up, then the object error message. This occurs when I either try to enter by means of "chat" up at the top, or "chatroom" at the side. I understand that it keeps thinking I'm logging out. Sounds totally illogical, I know. Thanks for checking!
