Instead of individual book discussions, I would like to do a topic discussion sometime in the future...like the Crusades, the Witch Trials...something like that where we can draw on many sources and such. I am sure this would not attract many people, but even if only a few participate...it will not disturb the community and give those few something to pursue.
We are kind of doing this now with the origins and progress of our system of government...with an element of how secular and rationalist thought has helped in that matter. We are reading Jacoby, Paine and The Federalist Papers...
Just a thought.

| I really think we picked the wrong Paine book, incidentally. I think he'd fare better if we were to read "Common Sense" or something a little more political, which is where he really excelled. |
