I don't know about this 1/3 screen for the posts stuff. It's great on the main forum page, but long skinny posts are a little, well, I don't really like it. Science is neither a philosophy nor a belief system. It is a combination of mental operations that has become increasingly the habit of educated peoples, a culture of illuminations hit upon by a fortunate turn of history that yielded the most effective way of learning about the real world ever conceived. | I agree...we could do without the right column of menus/links in the forums, I think. |

What do you think about leaving the sidebar on the main forums page and then not having it on the individual forums pages? People surfing the EZBoard system stumble across B ookTalk all the time, so the main forums page is what they will see. It is nice having that information available for them.
I agree that the sidebar needs to go from the individual forums pages.
Let me know what you think!

Much better.
I don't know how it was when a browser was full-screened (I run my chat client in the far left screen, occupying perhaps a fifth of my resolution at 1280x1024), but it was really awkward on my screen, as the text took up an inordinate amount of vertical space, where the horizontal could have been better used for the actual message portion of the message board. |
