How about a place to discuss short stories or essays (particularly those that can be read onine)? I have a couple that I would like to suggest, but the postings would probably get lost in any of the current forums.

Tim,
The current "additional literature" forums allow for that. If they are non-fiction essays we could discuss them in The Academy. If they are fictional short stories we can discuss them in The Reading Room. If they are personal essays of yours we could discuss them in the Booktalker's Contribution forum. I think that it would be better to increase conversation on the forums we already have than to create more forums.

My brother speaks! Naddia is correct that we already have forums for these types of stories...so feel free to copy and paste the stories or simply throw a link up directing us to where they reside online.
