Darker Side of Literature
I would really like to start either a monthly or quartly book discussion on fiction books that have a dark subject matter. Somewhere along the lines of vampires, ghosts, werewolves, magic, the whole bit. Anyone interested?

Ooh, I second that . Fantasy is after all my favorite genre. There are a lot of well-known fantasy books that I'm sure people have read. I subscribe to a website called The Reader's Quill and the author basically reviews books and suggests some as well. Most of them are fantasy books too.

There is also a House of Leaves discussion going on. I think that book is also the best horror story I ever read and also Let the Right One In is very excellent.
