for my English coursework I am writing a script concerning a woman who is in an abusive relationship, and need to do some research.
Can anyone recommend any novels which perhaps consider the woman being trapped?
It would also be useful to read a novel from an abuser's point of view, if anyone knows of any.

| I recently finished Here on Earth by Alice Hoffman. This is a little different as it is about a woman with a good husband entering into an affair with an old fling who is a controlling abusive man. It is a very good book. |
