Hey Chris -
Just saw you over on the RDB and followed your link. Nice to see you there, you look like a great addition. I will have to wander through your forums and pick up some good reading. Most of mine have been of the Skeptical variety, Sagan, Schermer, Randi, etc...
Peace! DBC67

DBC67 are my initials and year of birth (1967, I am not 1,937 years old! ) The D is for David.
The Religious Debate Board is a community that arose as a defense against christian's who came to an atheist parenting and support board to attack and harass the members. The Baby Center web site was a collection of support boards divided across family categories, like religion, nationality, orientation, family size, etc, and the athiests took umberage to their support community being harassed, so they created the EZ board RDB as a no-holds-barred community to duke it out and thus keep the trolls off their support board. We have quite a collection of diverse beliefs and worldviews and for the most part get along well.
Your post was clear, articulate, freindly in a convicted way (to your beliefs) and sounded like I did a few years ago (and like I would get back to sounding - all the fisticuffs with fundamentalists I think has me a tad tigger happy on the insult cannon...) So, your presence was welcomed and I hope to encourage your return.
About me: I am a third year law student in the evening division and work days as tech support for a large research company, I play bagpipes poorly in a large cop and fire band, I am a father of two amazing kids and husband of Wonder Woman herself. I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up, but I do love to read.
so there it is...
Peace! DBC67

My posts in the other forums seem to be "missing and cannot be restored"...
