Hi Everyone:
I am a Colorado native that loves to read ( and write of course)-I was looking for a group to read books with that are out of my normal realm of reading. I have an odd humor, that's dark with a twist and look forward to input from different people.
In college I was double majored, one of my majors was English with a specialty in Medieval Lit. I also love lots of genre's but look for writers that are unusual with a strong smooth writing style: I normally read books that involve, history, bio's, a little sci-fi, spiritual, poetry, political, political humor, occult, short story (fiction), children lit, mystery, erotica, classics, and several others. I realize I am all over the place but I enjoy the diversity of literature and I dig out of the box thinking.
I am excited to become part of the group and get some great discussions that really make us all think, laugh, and motive us to be better in our everyday lives or just perhaps a better critic.
The books I just finished are:
Eckhart Tolle- A New Earth ( will reread)
Coulson's Mata Hari ( Coulson is a cranky old man who tried to take the romance and mystery out of her image but in my eyes Mata Hari is still cool)
The books I am working on now are:
The Egyptian Book of the Dead ( long process)
Water Mirror ( first in series seeing if I like it-kids book recommended by 11 year old neighbor).
I look forward to taking this literary adventure with all of you,
Peace,
Seshet |
