Looks like Michael Shermer's "How We Believe" will be the winner for our March and April book selection. I'll be closing the poll in a few minutes after posting this message. We will probably have Michael Shermer in our chat room in early May for a chat session to discuss his book too, so please get a copy and go for it.

I am a 56 year old grandmother. I have 3 children all married--one a landscaper, one a lawyer, one an art teacher. I have two grandchildren. I went back to school lin the 90's after my kids were grown and finished my BS.Ed. I have taught school and worked as children's library assistant. I feel I am well read and enjoy posting in various forums.

G'day Deanna, pleased to 'meet' you. I've just read your response to the 'no/spanking' thread and can tell you come from the same parenting tradition as my mum, grandma and gran even though we're on the other side of the planet.
Tomorrow, in my experience, is usually the same day.
