Why won't my blog, blog?

Sorry to start a new topic - but I didn't know where to put this thread and thought the 'Test' Forum would be the best place.

I keep typing out my blog - and when I try to upload it....it says Forbidden etc...etc.....

Why doesn't my Blog love me anymore????? :shock:

Are any others of you Bloggers having a problem or is it just picking on me???

I will look into this. We just changed hosting accounts so some issues are bound to pop up.

And this forum is not the right forum to post problems. Just use the "BookTalk Announcements & Feedback" for such posts. The "testing" forum is for testing signatures, avatars, BBCode, etc...

Penelope, I am extremely frustrated with the bogs always having technical problems. I lack the know-how to fix them and our current web designer is not available to fix such things on an "on call" basis. So I think I am going to pay him to delete the blogs entirely. The headache is too much for me.

Please start moving your posts from your blog to a personal thread in the Introduce Yourself! forum. As soon as I see that people are ok with the blogs being deleted we will delete them.

I apologize for the inconvenience, but I have now spent 2+ hours today on this problem. I just can't afford the time it takes and need to delete the blogs because they have broken repeatedly.

I have enjoyed my blog and thank you for it Chris.

I am happy for you to just delete it though. I don't want to move any posts. I haven't said anything very profound in it. The opposite in fact.

Still I have loved knowing it was there, so thank you. I have enjoyed the experience. It was fun.

Penelope, the blog problem should be fixed. Please let me know if you are able to post on your blog again. Today was a rough day so I was ready to throw in the towel on the blogs. But if they are working lets leave them. A lot of people are really enjoying them.

Chris, Chris, I have just tried to post. No, my blog still isn't working.

But please, please don't fiddle about any more. It is not as though I was writing Shakespeare Sonnets on there. Other peoples' blogs might be OK.

I know it can drive you crazy when computers begin to act up. I know only too well as we have just had a frustrating time with ours. It can get you all stressed out and make you feel ill. I wouldn't want that, so please don't worry any more.

Please show me exactly what you are doing to get the error message. I just went to your blog and was able to create a post and leave a comment.

This is what I did.

I went to your name in the blog list and clicked on it.

Then I clicked on the "Post a new entry" button.

Then I create a message called "test" and clicked submit. This worked.

What are you doing that causes an error message?

OK Chris: I just did a test and my Blog worked.

Honestly, it wouldn't do it this morning!!!
