This guy is pretty funny; the sad part is that there is a fair amount of the American public that would agree with his point of view… despite his sarcastic approach.
Well since high profile people like Kirk Cameron and his lackeys are making equally bad arguments I suspect that response can be reflex for some of us when we see this stuff.
Even though this guy was using satire it was not that much different than the arguments we normally hear in defense of the religious viewpoint, so I can understand any misunderstanding.

This is the part that cracked me up about the video. It was so funny because he is mocking the ridiculous arguments that theists use regularly for defending their beliefs.
It made you cry with laughter....but it just made me want to cry......
But I'm not crying.......
Religion/Spirituality is not a matter of choice for me.....it just is the way I am...but I don't do formula.....which I assume this video is lampooning.
I am thinking about friends in Thailand...who are Buddhist...they get on with their lives.....but acknowledge now and then throughout their day...the Buddha....the spiritual part of themselves.
Namaste - that is when you/they put the hands together at the forehead and do a little bow.....in order to remember...that although they are busy getting on with day-to-day living.....they are remembering that they are spiritual/eternal beings. Namaste means - 'The God that is within me, salutes/honours the God that is within you'.
I truely believe that we are 90% spiritual beings.....that you don't accept that is OK. But I do think that we are all apt to forget our spirituality....and I do think it is wise of those Buddhists to remind themselves constantly.
