Brett Hollister is a famous big game hunter who travels all over the World in pursuit of dangerous game animals. He has his own television show, his own book series and a line of hunting clothing. But he's not satisfied in life. He has trouble at home with his wife and he rarely sees his children and thus decides to take a bit of time off from his work.
But when a mysterious offer from a man who goes only by the number "Six" is brought to the table, Brett and his wife decide he can't pass up this once in a lifetime opportunity. Along with four other reknown big game hunters, Brett embarks on a journey to the Bermuda Triangle; to a chain of islands caught in a bizarre phenomenon: they are 65,000,000 years behind the rest of the Earth! But the dinosaurs are only half of the dangers that await them once they arrive.
A group of eco-terrorists, bent on destroying all who stand in the way of protecting the majestic animals, ambush the group and all Hell breaks loose when many of the members are taken hostage. Brett's only hope stands with the hard-nosed game warden, Brock Means, whose many indentities remain a mystery to Brett. Together they must thwart the plans of the terrorists, dodge the teeth of the viscious prehistoric predators and eventually become entangled in a web of lies, deceit and betrayel that traces back to the United States governement. Packed with thrills, chills and intense action involving the greatest animals ever created, "Island" is sure to keep the adrenaline racing until the very last sentence.

I was also posting this to see what other good action/adventure books people are reading these days. Can anyone give me any ideas for some that I can give a read? Has anyone read the Bourne series? I would greatly appreciate ideas! |
