| Hello just an F.Y.I. I found a sight that gives pretty good money for used books. www.cash4books.net does price matching as well, so what that means is that if you go to other online sellers and they are paying more for a book, Cash4books.net will match that price, they even pay shipping costs. You should check them out, I think it is a pretty good find! |

Thanks for the recommendation. I checked out their page and it looks really simple and very professional. I wish I had one or two college textbooks in front of me to sell, then I could try out the whole site. I love simple black text on a white page. While on the net, I have also noticed that Textbookbuyer.com is a popular place to sell used textbooks online. The web site announces they have a good reputation, and really, most all the web sites that I have tried seem to have a great reputation!
To me, price and speed are important, so sometimes I'll try out one of the text book comparison websites to find what buyer is offering what price. Then I have to decide if I wan to keep the book, or sell it (sometimes I don't want to part with my books). But, I think of it this way: if I sell a book that I'm not using any more, then I have some money that can go towards a book I really want. |

Ophelia, thank you for the welcome!
I've got the day off today, which is perfect -- my favorite bookstore has an all-day sale today (it's the "books on sale cart" where they push this gigantic cart out in front of the store). Almost every book is marked way down, cheap.
I think the sale started a few hours ago. Hope there are still some good books left (or any at all) |
