Hello BookTalk members. I'm Biomachine. Most people call me Bio.
I'm a 21 year old book-a-holic from Florida. I only read non-fiction these days, mostly popular science. I haven't read a fiction book since the release of the last book in the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. When I'm not reading, you'll find me playing Mass Effect on the Xbox 360. I also love a good game of chess, but I have to admit, due to the lack of good or willing players around here, I'm not that good at it.
I bought Your Inner Fish by Neil Shubin a week before finding this site. I'm not sure what's going on with the discussion, as the link doesn't work on the front page, but I'll keep an eye out for it.
I have to say, when the book first arrived, I was a little surprised by how tiny it was considering how much I paid for it. But the reviews on amazon are promising. I'll have to start the book sometime tomorrow.
I know! The price of this book is outrageous. I got mine for less than 15 with shipping. I won't pay 25 and I still think 15 is way too much. After I'm done reading it, it's going back on the market ASAP!

What is wrong with the link on the home page? I just clicked the link that says, "Join the discussion" and it leads right into the Your Inner Fish forum. I'm curious why that forum hasn't received a single post or even view yet. Please let me know that you're able to get into that forum.
And welcome to BookTalk. You mentioned that you read a lot of popular science. You'll fit in well here at BookTalk. Check out our past book selections on our BOOKS page.
