I'm about to start up another non-fiction book. I'd like a book on unequal distribution of wealth, globalization, or economics. I was wondering if anyone out there wanted to join me.
Here is a short list of some books that I'm considering:
1. Naked Economics - Charles Wheelen
2. Lexus and the Olive Tree - Thomas Friedman
3. Unequal Protection - Thom Hartmann
4. Wealth of Nations - Smith
5. Principle of Population - Malthus
6. Principles of Political Economy - Mill
If you'd like to read one of these with me or have another book on the subject that you'd like to read with someone, please let me know.

I've checked "Cannibals and Kings" at amazon.
I haven't got a copy, but I'm willing to buy it if you say you'll discuss it with me -- and anyone else who'd like to join.
Generally I'm also interested in history-- a subject that doesn't seem to appear much in discussion forums, or at least not in the form of books to discuss. |

I'm going to open the "Cannibals " thread now.
You can start using it, for example to give discussion directions, before my copy arrives. |
