Hi. I'm Lucas R. Baker and I wrote the true story "Running from the Mafia."
This story details the soap opera lives of Mike, a depressed thirty-year-old, and Tonya, a beautiful eighteen-year-old, as they interwine in a decade long friendship. They endure good times, bad times, and strange times until an old man is tied to his bed and beaten to death. Mike determines that Jerry, Tonya's younger brother, has committed the homocide and turns him into the police. What Mike doesn't know is that Jerry is working for the Mafia, who come after Mike to kill him ... and he survives.

Good Morning Lucas,
Welcome to BookTalk. I'm sure you will enjoy the folks who are members here. Gentle folk, don't you know. I am a wantabee writer. My blog here on BookTalk is Lawrenceindestin. Cris allowed me to present a draft of an essay I've been trying to write for 25 years. It is not supposed to be fiction. I know little or nothing about the craft of writing so I hoped comments about the essay would critique my presentation. Although 1500 have viewed it only 9 left comments and only two were substantive. I have one more chapter to finish and if you feel like reading and commenting on my essay I sure would appreciate it.
If you want novice feedback about your books, I will be happy to give you my best shot. If you just want to talk about things, I can do that. Best wishes, Lawrenceindestin
