Ben Stein has rather obnoxious right-wing views, as you might expect from someone who wrote speeches in the Nixon White House.
From Wikipedia,
| Quote: |
| Some have called Stein a "Nixon apologist" due to his fervent defense of Nixon's legacy. As recently as 2005, in the American Spectator, Stein said "Nixon was a peacemaker. He was a lying, conniving, covering-up peacemaker. He was not a lying, conniving drug addict like JFK, a lying, conniving war-starter like LBJ, a lying, conniving seducer like Clinton—a lying, conniving peacemaker." |

Yeah. I liked him as an entertainer though. Funny guy. I knew he was Right Wing...but not that far. |

| I am thoroughly disgusted with Ben Stein. Not that I have ever met the guy, or read his books, or even seen the so-called documentary Expelled! he made. However, I don't want to financially contribute to him, so I will not pay to do any of these things. |
