Hello, all! My name is Misty. I'm new around here - I was just searching the other day for a way to get involved in a book club, but I couldn't find any local groups so I thought I'd go online instead! 
I've recently graduated from college and I severely miss reading in a group and having the chance to come together to discuss, so that's why I'm here.
I live in Franklin, Tennessee and I work as an editorial assistant for Thomas Nelson, Inc. It's great.

My favorite types of books are fantasy/sci-fi, (The Glass Dragon by Irene Radford is my favorite in that category) and young adult fiction (if any of you haven't read The Giver, you must do so this instant!), but I'm trying to branch out into other types of fiction. I just finished The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time last night. That was a really interesting read.
Being an English major, I also like a lot of British Literature. But Shakespeare isn't exactly "light reading" so I don't bust out my old textbooks too often. |

We discussed "Dog in the Night" last year. Good read. I also love Fantasy/Sci Fi, mostly geared toward Asimov, Bradbury, Bear, Sawyer, Moorcock, Anthony and a few others.
