Hello ajnk, and welcome to Booktalk!
Would you like to check our current fiction and non-fiction selections in case you want to join our discussions?
If you like fiction, we are currently discussing "Heart of Darkness", by Conrad, and next will be "No Country for old Men" by Cormac Mc Cartry.
Also, you can look up the threads entitled "addidtional fiction (or non-fiction) Books", and you'll find reviews by individual BT members or informal discussions of titles.
Would you like to tell us a little more about yourself by writing an introduction in the "Introduce Yourself " threads?
For example, where do you study? |

Welcome to the community, ajnk. Try as I might I cannot seem to pronounce ajnk. What does this name mean? There has to be a significance to the name.
17 years old? Are you in high school? Where?
My favorite books are almost all non-fiction. Do you read fiction or non? |

Hello Ajinkya--
What a lovely name!
The time given is Eastern Statndard, as most of our members are based in the East of the US.
This means I can't join the evening chats, as I am in France and that would mean chatting at 3 am for me.
I hope you can join the week-end chats, which take place once a month on a Sunday, I always take part in those.
There is a thread, led by George Ricker, which explains about chats: it is called "Chat Central".
You are our second member from India, the other one is an history college student from Delhi, Setonfire. I'm really happy with this because I am interested in attracting members from other parts of the world, I was thinking of India and Europe specifically so I'm delighted when I see progress.
Which part of India do you come from? |
