I started reading an unusual novel called "Nexus: A Neo Novel" and just finished reading it today. It's a very unusual book...not something I'd normally read but it gets into interesting psychological and spiritual stuff. Very Happy

Hello al192,

I looked up this book at amazon, I realize that a lot of books about spiritual journeys or self growth are being written.

http://www.amazon.com/Nexus-Neo-Novel-Deborah-Morrison/dp/0978107004/r ef=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1202801421&sr=1-1

One of the reviews mentions James Redhill.
What Redhill has to say about how people who are not on a spiritual quest actually take energy from one another in different ways is excellent. I liked this part, and had hoped he would develop it, but the rest of the novel I tried didn't really catch my attention, I would need to go back to it.

Why is this thread named simply "C" and then the first post only says "We?" Is this an error?

Hello Chris, nice to have you back. Smile

You'll find a few such postings by me on the forums, I was hoping someone would help.

When I write something and then want to delete the posting, I find that the "delete" sign in the top corner only appears for a short while (an hour?).

I do not know how to delete after the blue cross stops showing.
If I erase what I have written, I am asked to write a topic title and write something, so I leave the shortest message I can, one or two letters.

I realize this is a waste of time for people who click on this post, and I realize nobody else seems to have a problem with this -- either they know how to solve the problem, or they never change their minds. Wink

Maybe the "X" to delete your post vanishes as soon as someone else makes a follow-up post. I don't believe this forum software allows the author of a post to delete the very first post after people have started to reply to it.

We should test this hypothesis. Maybe you should make a post and ask people to NOT reply to your post. Then watch that little "X" and see if it vanishes after a period of time.
