Hi there,
My name is Brendan and I study martial arts and zen. Or as I like to call it spiritual stuff. I want to use martial arts to kick my own butt and help me get more real. Naturally through my studies my focus in reading has been either martial or zen like in nature. Some titles include Fight Club which I am reading now, Zen and the art of Archery, Zen body-being, Carlos Castenada, Way of the Peaceful Warrior etc... I appreciate all kinds of honesty and if you want to talk to me please feel free.

Welcome to the board Brendan. I read Fight Club a couple years ago, and it definitely kept me entertained. Of the Palahniuk that I’ve read, though, Lullaby is my favorite. Out of curiosity, did you see the movie before you read the book?
