Finished the book today. A scathing indictment of religion, indeed. And I've just begun to soften a little on the topic. Well, I think Grayling may have offered the best its gonna get: make religion a private matter and keep it OUT of the body politic. Not any day soon, I'm afraid, but perhaps sooner than it goes away altogether.
