Hi. I have just released a book called 'God, Democracy and Evolution', and I have a website with plenty of easy-to-read chapters about the evolution of humankind, skeptical histories of the various religions, speculations about science and technology, and theories about politics and morality.
My goal was develop powerful arguments against popular myths and superstitions, and to refine those arguments down to make them as easy to read as possible. But rather than blindly attacking religion, which i believe is a failed tactic, i have attempted to show that people do not need to have faith in myths in order to believe that their lives might have some kind of cosmic purpose.
My website is www.principlesofexistence.net
Most of the book can be read from the website, but controversial sections on Islam and American militarism only appear in the book.
I think you will find this book to be refreshingly different from what you are used to. I hope you take the time to read and enjoy. |
