As I'm constantly starting off attempts to read more in subjects that I've previously neglected, and trying to find the best points of introduction in those topics, I thought we could pool our resources a bit here. Basically, what I propose is, that anyone hoping to start reading more in a topic they feel they've neglected should post that topic here. Anyone with some familiarity of the literature in that topic can make their recommendations.
For instance, I'm trying to catch up on the math that I've been neglecting, so I'd appreciate any good, readable recommendations anyone might have in that subject.
Now, if you know of any good books in that subject, you can post titles and authors, links, descriptions, and so on. If you don't, you can post a subject that you're interested in learning more about -- maybe I'll know some good sources for that. Reciprocity is the key. |

Yesterday I posted a suggestion in the Development forum about collectively compiling reading lists. Mr. P seems to be keen on the idea: p090.ezboard.com/fbooktal...D=73.topic |

I set a temporary thread in the Roundtable...pending discussion with Chris on this.
Adding another forum would just add to the length of the main page, which Chris had concern with...too much scrolling.
See the thread in the Roundtable...it is pinned so it should be at or near the top.
