I think I am going to go buy the Battle for God. Looks like a lock!

| Battle for God does look to be in a good position. If we can expect to have thirteen people vote, nine so far, so thirteen seems high, but if fifteen, if the tenth through thirteenth voters put all their votes for the second place book, Gulag, it would still be down by one vote. This would mean that the statistical likelihood of Gulag or So Many Books winning is rather low at this point. But I wholeheartedly encourage all potential voters to vote their consciences with regard to what book(s) they would like to see us read. …[T]o ignore the classics is ultimately to weaken the very foundations of our society. - James Atlas, Book Wars |

I vote for the "The Battle for God" with 3 votes. Gulag sounds interesting but I would rather read Battle for God at this time. As well, it looks like it will have a pretty good majority of the votes and my library has several copies available.
Chris, I am glad this new method of voting has worked well.
