Look at the way this news story unfolds. Huge blast, but Cheney's o.k. Oh, BTW twenty-some people were killed and another twenty wounded. Oh wait, NATO said that initial reports indicated three dead including a U.S. soldier and a South Korean coalition soldier and another 27 wounded. While AP is reporting that at least 12 bodies had been carried away in black body bags.

BUT CHENEY IS O.K.

Meanwhile in Iraq, a suicide bomber killed 18 boys (ages 10-15) while they played soccer on a field in Ramadi.

BUT CHENEY IS O.K. and undeterred from his next stop in Kabul and reports that "breakfast was excellent."

I guess you've got to look on the bright side. Breakfast was excellent and so long as politicans can go to Iraq (or rather a military base in Iraq) it looks as though the country is something other than a warzone.

In the interest of full disclosure, The U.S. disputes the above report. I'm not sure if it's better that 30 civilians and one Iraqi soldier were injured in what they are now calling a "controlled detonation." How well was it controlled if 31 people were injured?
