If true, I'm sure we'll see a lot more about it. That would be a huge blow to those bastards.

Re: Tom Cruise might be leaving Scientology?
It's difficult to believe Cruise would leave, but one can hope. He is so closely aligned with the image of that organization that I doubt they could attack him afterwards. Although that may depend on if Cruise were to expose the reasons why he left. We may get an indication on that when Ronald Miscavige Sr. (David's father) publishes his book titled If He Dies, He Dies.

He might even improve his box office by leaving. I know I'd respect him a lot more.

Check this article out.
More on Tom Cruise and his scientology ethics.

I personally don't give a damn if he leaves it.
I never even appreciated his acting in the least.

Re: Tom Cruise might be leaving Scientology?
Ant, thanks for posting that article. I personally know Bennetta Slaughter (Scientologist mentioned in the article) and her husband. Despite the stories about her she was always quite good to me and my father. We were invited to her parties and I have no negative words about her. My father actually took over the job and literal desk of Lisa McPherson shortly after Lisa died.
Whether she actually had anything to do with the coverup on Lisa McPherson's death I don't know.
So you didn't like Tom Cruise in Top Gun!? That's such an awesome movie but my passion for it stems from a personal interest I had long ago for being a fighter pilot. Still, Cruise is a great actor in my opinion. His religion might be crazy but his acting skills are top notch.

And I don't buy the claim that she left Scientology. As the article said I think she's simply keeping a low profile. I know people that work at her business right now. And it is a Scientology-based business. She is an officer there.Bennetta is a notable personality who was significantly involved in the Lisa McPherson debacle. Nick reveals that Bennetta Slaughter and her family have now left Scientology, but are keeping a very low profile.

Re: Tom Cruise might be leaving Scientology?
I guess I was a bit to harsh on TCs acting abilities.
I dont remember much about Top Gun. I do recall I liked Val Ks performance. Tom didn't leave much of an impression and often doesn't. I find most of his movies to be just the same type of action Hollywood pumps out with regularity.
I do recall TC doing quite well in Rainman. I've also heard he's good in Jerry M.
