scientist says "inappropriate time out" in global climate change

Now scientists are acknowledging there's a "time out" currently under way thats slowing down the increase in global warming,, excuse me, climate change.

Its "inappropriate" for it to have occurred, with the likelihood that its due to oceanic phenomena, but it most certainly will commence again with a vengeance.

If there is no significant rise in temps after this inappropriate slowdown, then I guess we might call that "inappropriate global cooling" or maybe "appropriate climate steadiness"

Yes, the earth is warming. But at a lower rate than previously thought.
The Atlantic and Pacific oceans seem to be balancing and cancelling their cooling and warming effects.
Underwater volcanic activity might have something to do with that (?).

Anyway, we need to stop polluting the environment.
That would help regardless.
It's just silly how scientists play all these definition slight of hand games to make it seem they have a grip on understanding climatology.
The ninnies that get caught up in the squabbling are worse.

This isn't any new discovery. The oceans are absorbing the heat. Try science journals rather than internet news sites. Just sayin.

The article cites a published study in the journal "Science" that used the language "pause" and "inappropriate"

I was poking at the choice of words used more than anything else.

Have you read the study yet?

No need for you to spread your usual scientism as thick as you normally do here.

Just saying, you know.

Ps

This isnt a new discovery??
Well hot dog! It seems like its new stuff. None of our climate watch dogs here ever mention it.
All the rhetoric is mainly gloom and doom when in fact we really dont know how long this "inappropriate pause" will actually last.
Is there a climate model that predicts how long this inappropriate pause will last, Mr Science Guy?
