Hunter & Holmes e-book Mystery Series

Unread post

Hello everyone,

I am Kyle Siko, from Hal Peterson Media Services, and I wanted to share with you our Hunter & Holmes e-book mystery series.

Hunter & Holmes Mysteries are centered around Jason Hunter and Daniel Holmes, two teenagers living in the Silicon Valley who become amateur detectives to solve crimes that affect them and their community. The eight novels depict their struggles against the criminals responsible, especially those who would harm other young people. In addition to their action/adventure side, the books explore the worlds of music, sports, philanthropy, friendship, romance, and family.

The books are meant for readers aged 13 and older: teenagers, young adults, or anyone who enjoys and appreciates the “hobby detective” genre. The books come in pdf, epub, and Kindle editions, with unique graphics layouts and many color illustrations. We consider the pdf editions to be the best, as they emulate the size and layout of a typical hard cover novel.

If you are a fast reader you could finish the first novel in a few hours, or if you’re like me and you tend to be a slower reader, a few days. Regardless of reading level the novels are an easy and fun read for everyone.

Part of the charm of the Hunter & Holmes series is that there are multiple adventures and books to enjoy as you get to know their community of family and friends. If you really connect with Jason and Daniel in the first novel, there are seven additional novels to enjoy afterwards.

Hunter & Holmes Mysteries are available at the hunterandholmes.com official website or from Amazon, Apple, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Drive Through Fiction, and OmniLit.

We would love to hear feedback and constructive criticism of our novels. Thank you for your consideration.

Hunter & Holmes: The Kidnapping

The circumstances of Jason Hunter’s mysterious kidnapping has left the Silicon Valley Police Department mystified and threatens to remain unsolved. As questions about the kidnapping continue to go unanswered, Jason’s frame of mind steadily deteriorates as he attempts to make sense of the nonsensical. In addition, the SVPD’s stagnation on the case has increased the uneasiness and tension felt by surrounding communities causing parents to be much more protective and restrictive of their children during their summer vacation. As a result, Daniel Holmes, Jason’s best friend, fervently persuades Jason to become proactive in uncovering the circumstances of his own kidnapping with the aim of returning their community and Jason back to normal. Journey with Hunter & Holmes as the detective duo attempts to solve this mysterious kidnapping by using their own unique characteristics to piece together this seemingly unsolvable case.

Hunter & Holmes: Double Fugue

Jason and Daniel are back in Hunter & Holmes: Double Fugue. Similar to The Kidnapping focusing primarily upon Jason’s kidnapping, Double Fugue revolves around Daniel and his evolving passion for music. Ethan Savage, a rock music legend and one of Daniel’s musical inspirations, is playing the final concert of his farewell tour in San Jose, California and Daniel is compelled to go. Rebelling against his parents, who forbade him to attend Ethan’s concert, Daniel strategically positioned himself in the spot where he would most likely be seen by Ethan outside the concert. After a successful meet & greet, coupled with a private music lesson from Ethan, the mood rapidly worsens when Daniel witness Ethan’s bizarre abduction. During his investigation into Ethan’s abduction, Daniel’s appreciation for music continues to matures as he is exposed to different aspects of music culture.

Meanwhile, Jason is asked to help 14-year-old Eric Acosta, nephew to one of Jason’s neighbors, whom he senses has been the victim of a vicious crime. Unfortunately Eric has become introverted and unwilling to communicate with anyone making the situation much more difficult. Jason decides to share his own traumatic kidnapping experience with Eric fearing that if Eric doesn't receive help soon his mental health will continue to deteriorate. Will Jason’s willingness to share his experience help improve relations between himself and Eric? Or will Jason have to find another way to help Eric?
