Congratulations on your new book - you must be thrilled to have published it. Are you Australian or are you writing from a backpacker's perspective?

Hi,

Thanks very much. I'm actually from Dublin in Ireland. I backpacked there many years ago and have holidayed there a lot since.

I was trying to write something from a different perspective (it's not a travel guide :) ).

Loved my time there and just wanted to write something about it.

Do you write yourself?

Sam

An Irishman in Australia! I see. Actually I holidayed in Ireland quite a lot as my mother lived there for twenty years. Loved the Ring of Kerry and the Gap of Dunloe - also the Irish National Stud.

I've written two books - Missing in Egypt is a romantic travel mystery set in Australia and Egypt and Winston - A Horse's Tale is about an Australian horse.

You've got some good reviews for your book and it has a very interesting start! I'm sure you'll do well with it.
