Book Suggestion:
"God--A Biography" by Jack Miles. Copyright 1995.
This portrait of God does not bode well for Christianity. Jack Miles pulls out of the Bible all information about God and puts together a comprehensive Biography, which seems to make God seem very human like and inconsistent.
