Re: Let's crucify him again!
I'm sure he'll wind up in a bunker with his followers fending off law enforcement agents eventually...or maybe mixing up a big batch of kool aid for the faithful. People are so freakin' gullible it's depressing sometimes.
I bet pretending to be the Messiah is a lucrative gig though. I was watching one of the religious channels earlier because I wanted to see one of the zealots who is said to be preparing the faithful for war with Iran. Apparently, it's inevitable according to the Bible. I missed that one - or just couldn't hang in long enough until he came on - but I did catch a woman telling the audience how they should give their "first fruits" to god (apparently she's god's designated financial representative) and they would get back many times that in return (but not from her).
She was quite the huckster, rhyming away, "As it is in heaven so it will be in '07. You can be in position to come into possession of his provision." From the rapturous look of the sheep in the audience and the expensive studio, a lot of people are buying into this nonsense.
