I've been visiting booktalk.org for a little while, but have yet to jump into any conversations. I've read a number of the books being discussed, but not recently enough to remember details and contribute much. I've enjoyed being reminded of some their highlights though. My schedule has recently lightened up so I am able to read more, so I thought it was time to step into the light.
Requisite information:
Are you male or female? female
Where are you from? I'm from America (Tennessee), but I currently live in the UK.
What are your hobbies or special interests? I'm an avid reader (you might have guessed that). I occasionally bead and write.
What sort of books do you enjoy reading? I have very eclectic taste. I'll read just about anything outside of fantasy. My favorite genre is fantasy though.
How did you find BookTalk.org? Google, I was looking for an online book community.
I look forward to getting to know everyone.

Hello Lurker!
Well, I for one, am glad you have stopped lurking and glad that you stumbled upon us via Google. Tennessee sounds so romantic to me....because when I was about 13years old, Davy Crocket was all the rage and I used to ride my bike up and down the road singing, 'Born on a mountaintop in Tennessee'.....
But you say you are currently in the UK.....Wet isn't it??

Yes Tennessee sounds really exotic. Welcome and please comment. I find any comments differing from my opinion enlightening
