Re: Who would like to lead the Moby Dick discussion?
Argh, as Captain Ahab may once have said, although not in Moby Dick, as a pdf search reveals.

Thanks for the links. I was very surprised to find that the free copy I had from Gutenberg also had notes which must have been made after 2004. I had thought there would be either no notes, or very old ones.

To my delight I found I had one of those free dvd's of the film that newspapers often give away. Although was very good, was quite annoyed cos I thought Queequeg was not portrayed as in the book, they missed a lot out. Must say Robert. this is another very good choice.

Re: Who would like to lead the Moby Dick discussion?
I'm new here, decided to join because I'm about 2/3rd through Moby Dick, and am amazed. Last time I read it - long ago - I remember finding it very boring for a long time. This time, I'm entranced, but it is difficult and I like the idea of reading it in company. So do I just wait for whatever happens next?
