Please help me with an essay prompt about the tenses changing at the end of the 3rd part :)

Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 2 Location: Los Angeles Thanks: 0 Thanked: 0 time in 0 post Gender:	Please help me with an essay prompt about the tenses changin While the first three parts of the novel are written in the past tense, the final part is written in present tense. What do you think was the author’s intent in making this shift? How does it change the effect of this final section? I really don't get this thanks so much for helping.
