With the current agitation in the price of oil, is it possible that we have hit peak?
Peak Oil is a scary area of observation. Most say that when we do hit peak, it may be years before we notice it.
Baiscally, oil production follows a bell curve. In the beginning of the curve, production is high and costs are low. As the curve passes the highpoint, the reverse is true until...we eventually run out.
We really need to start looking for and developing alternate sources of energy.
