Northern New Mexico - am I an Alien?

Unread post

Was not sure about the subject so just put that out there.

Who: I am a female that lives in Taos, New Mexico. I am probably not an alien.

What: Minor academic and also avid nature adventure/solo time explorer (or so I like to think).

Why: I like all kinds of books. I am here to find a group of peers to discuss those that are a bit more heady as I find I can get lost in nonfiction when it is not for work with no one to discuss the ideas and more subtle undertones.

General Interests:
SciFi
Metaphysics
Some historical
Philosophy/Ethics/Spirituality
Politics

Did I forget anything?

Happy to be here :)

Is this the virtue of faith? To never change your mind: especially when you should?

Young Earth Creationists take offense at the idea that we have a common heritage with other animals. Why is being the descendant of a mud golem any better?
