churchill by max hastings. what do the rest of the world think of him? only ever had the british perspective.

Are you talking about Winston's War: Churchill 1940-1945, or Finest Years: Churchill as Warlord 1940-45?

I haven't read this book. I do remember my parents' generation (who fought in the WWII) being in awe of Churchill.
