 There is a great new adventure series out for children 8-12. "The Adventures of Kid Combat Volume One: A Secret Lost" is currently out. The story follows Kyle (AKA Kid Combat) and how he protects the interests of the children of Elmcrest from one man....Jones.
The book has a website www.kidcombat.com
I know of several teachers, third through fifth, that have read the book aloud. The students LOVED it!!
