Surabhi279,
I'm really glad you are so excited by the Narnia books being brought to the screen. Maybe, if I see the Prince Caspian movie, I will be captivtated by it, who knows. My two kids are familiar with my view that the Narnia books were so much better on the page. I don't know, the books just seem to have a charm for me that is lost when the epic, LOTR-type treatment is applied during movie-making. By the way, there is an interesting problem with the order of the movies. Was Prince Caspian the second in Lewis' series, as he thought of the sequence? In the boxed sets that are available now, Caspian is #4. But I'm sure that when I read the series as a kid, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe was listed as first, and The Magician's Nephew was, I believe, fourth or sixth, which I thought was strange. So what is the reason for the sequence the filmmakers are following? And do they really plan to do The Horse and His Boy, which I always thought was kind of an odd one.
Cheers,
Will |

ya i guess books do have their own charm.. they turn the imagination caps on.! the order of the books differs.. because the publishing order is second. However if you look at the narnian years its 2303 years hence its fourth. The books itself are thrilling and when the characters come alive in movies it all the more exciting..I happened to view the trailer on youtube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VqzYukVDqy4 Ben Barnes looks so cute as Capsian.. You ll should check it out. its quite interesting.. |

Thanks for giving us the heads up on this one. I was just listening to The Horse and His Boy the past few days on audio book while doing my treadmill workout at the gym. I'm definitely a big fan of the whole series. |

| C.S Lewis's book do have their own charm but my favourite books are narnia..The best thing about his Narnia books is his storytelling that completely spellbinds you. |
