Middlemarch by George Eliot

Unread post

I'm reading Middlemarch by George Eliot. I've read about 100 pages so far, and I'm really enjoying it. I wasn't sure if I liked it at first. Eliot's style is very distinctive. It's an interesting blend of religion, politics, and romance. I recommend it!

 It's a very extensive book but really enjoyable and a good portrait of The Victorian english ages

I agree. It is extensive, sometimes frustratingly so. I put it aside, but I plan to go back to it. Its tough because I'm reading quite a few books right now.
