My name is Cassie Jo. I grew up in Michigan aspiring to be a Princess and a Rock Star. I LOVE being a girl! I’m 32 years old and my 15 year high school reunion is in 2012.
I have 2 adorable sons and love them more than anything.
I got my tattoo in Chicago. I was visiting friends and while they were at work, Friday morning on a very HOT day in June, I wandered the streets in the northern part of the city, alone. Passing several hair salons I had the bright idea of attaining a radical physical change, like dyeing my hair blue or pink. But then, I passed a few tattoo parlors. I had always wanted a tattoo. Why not? But it was early and the shops didn’t open until noon. I guessed tattoo artists are more 'second shift' kind of people, or perhaps their cliental. So, I walked and walked 30 some blocks and decided that at noon, I would get a tattoo at the first place I found. And I did.
My favorite reads include Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum novels, but only those. I love the Hollywood type, stereotypical characters and I’m excited for “One for the Money,” on the big screen. Dan Brown’s pieces, but I think 'Deception Point' and 'Digital Fortress' are his best. I’m going to assume it’s because the main characters are girls!
And Maeve Binchy will always hold a special place in my heart because I read her books a long while ago. Of the classics, I love Jane Austen, Edgar Alan Poe, Mark Twain, and Shakespeare.
One day, I woke up and decided to write a book. And I did. Spontaneity makes life worth living, for me! I fell in love with writing and through it I want to make people laugh and to want to fall in love and be in love, because those are my favorite things.
I want girls to know they already rule the world.
I’m working on the Princess-Rock Star thing.

And I promise that boys can still woo girls and Princesses can become Kings!
