One hundred billion galaxies, each containing over one hundred billion stars... and yet, there are those who persist in maintaining that this tiny blue-green dot is the only repository of life in the universe.

Oh, I forgot..,
There are some things we just shouldn't question!!
BAD BAD theists!! They're like children who ask "why why why?" about everything!!!
We need "correcting"
Just ask Interbane. He's "wired" to know which questions are legit and which aren't!!
And he has evidence to prove it too!

How did you get "there are some things we just shouldn't question" from that? That's literally the opposite of what's implied.ant wrote:Interbane wrote:I corrected your comment.ant wrote:Why is there something miraculous to look at rather than nothing to look at?

Saying "God" is what ends the conversation with nothing of content added. To be sure, we may never have an answer to that question.

Are you pushing your own short comings on us and safely hating them from a distance?
Is this the virtue of faith? To never change your mind: especially when you should?
Young Earth Creationists take offense at the idea that we have a common heritage with other animals. Why is being the descendant of a mud golem any better?

Re: Looking into deep space with the Hubble
I still remember the thrill when the deep field image was first published. I hope they repeat that experiment with the James Webb Space Telescope, much higher resolution coming in 2018.
