Re: Light hearted short stories for cancer patient?
Thank you for the suggestions Heledd

I originally thought Roald Dahl may be too dark and unsentimental. But I'm sure there are some suitable titles if I sort through his work.
I will look into Sophie Kinsella. My mother is quite old fashioned so I am not sure if she will be able to relate to the material but its worth my time. Charlotte's Web may be a good story for her, though I remember balling my eyes out reading it years ago. I hadn't thought of that.
A big concern with me is her concentration level. Some times she struggles just to maintain a conversation with me. I am looking into music as well but she used to read a great deal before her cancer treatments so I am trying to stimulate that.
As for the accounts... I struggled for longer than I want to admit getting an account made that allowed me to log in so I could post my question here. I'm not sure why it was so difficult. I am over seas right now so maybe that has something to do with it.
