old world weary anthropologist who loves travel, war, and early (Herodotus to Fawcett in the Amazon) discoverer narratives. Images enthrall me, from sketchy drawings "form the field" to lovely photos of "almost" extinct tribal folks. I am a female and have been an activist for indigenous rights for many a year.
