IMPORTANT!!! Do NOT post on ANY other forum!

I think ezboard will be doing several more restores, so any posts you make to the otjher forums might get deleted.

Please use this forum for all posts until I give you the green light to jump back into the others!

Chris

Okay, but the last update I saw made it seem like that wouldn't be an issue. I know in previous updates they said it might be a problem. Better safe than sorry I guess.

Atsquich, that's the problem, isn't it? The information from ezBoard regarding the restoral is quite contradictory. We've set up a temporary forum on my home board too, as it seemed the most harmless route in the current circumstances. Ah well...

I'm playing it safe. As you can see from what I have posted in this new temporary forum we still have quite a bit of data missing. Will we regain these posts? I'm not sure, but it is painful enough to deal with this loss without seeing new posts get wiped out too. Let's hold off on the other forums for a bit. I am really hoping to see the Collapse forum fixed. Nothing in that forum seems to have survived this hack attack. Damn that hacker. That was our current book discussion.

On a positive note the new version of the ezboard software will allow us admins to back all posts on our own computers. I plan to use this feature frequently.

Chris

Yeah, I've been poking around seeing what's gone and it is all the recent stuff. Looks like I'll have to wait for the restoral to catch up with discussions here.

As for being able to back up boards in the future, we're quite happy about that on my home board too. Bring it on!

In that case, you may want to move the thread I started in the "Additional Readings" forum about "The Selfish Gene".

Mad:

I tried moving your post from "Additional" to here, and now I cannot find it at all! Hopefully it will pop up. Sorry.
