The mod bots and the bird are great. What's better is that the progress is all cumulative. Once it's built, we have the knowledge. It's all uphill from here, faster and faster. With rapid trial and error in tech labs, we're reproducing the evolutionary algorithm on an accelerated scale. After a successful technology such as the albatross, the technologies will split; small birds will be developed and larger birds(planes) will be developed. Riding on such a plane would make me vomit.
I don't think that the INTENDED to terrify a generation with this abomination of plastic and gears, but what inventors in Japan have done is conjured the unformed demons of fetal doom and invested them into this amorphous horror, ostensibly to make people feel comfortable.
Well that didn't work.
Because watching this be-faced maggot croon the lovely words of your remote-communicating wife mocks the very notion of comfort, and trods happiness under it's mal-formed hip lumps.
